These are some titles from last month's New York Times Book Review section that I might like to read at some point:
Fiction
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - Seth Grahame-Smith; "The eagerly awaited novel by the New York Times bestselling author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (I recommend Brendan Fraser for the starring role in the inevitable movie adaptation. He can do serious and hokey, but he needs to do more than family-friendly.)
An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination - Elizabeth McCracken; "The happiest story in the world with the saddest ending."
Nonfiction
Angels and Ages: A Short Book About Darwin, Lincoln, and Modern Life - Adam Gopnik; "On Feb. 12, 1809, Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln were born within a few hours of each other on either side of the Atlantic."
1989: Bob Dylan Didn't Have This to Sing About - Joshua Clover; "provides astute observations across several genres; his gangsta rap and grunge chapters are particularly good."
